Our studio offers a wide variety of yoga styles with the focus on developing awareness of your self and your body. We offer flowing vinyasa classes that challenge your endurance and breath, as well as slower paced foundation and gentle classes that are not only great for reducing stress, but inform you with alignment details and continually challenge you to stay in the moment. Greenwich Yoga’s unique mix of styles enables you to create a supportive practice for the ups and down of your schedule and life!

Living a happy and healthy life comes from balance. We must learn to find the balance between taking care of our body, nourishing our mind and creating strong happy relationships. Yoga and bodywork help to restore our natural sense of ease, elation and balance. Yoga disciplines the body, builds strength, and increases flexibility while imparting a sense of calmness over our mind. Through yoga, the body channels energy more efficiently, restoring and rejuvenating the body and spirit.

At Greenwich Yoga, we practice asanas (postures), pranayama (breath exercises), meditation and yoga nidre (deep relaxation). Through these practices we develop skills that help make our movement through life and our relationships more vibrant and alive!

“Practice, practice, practice and all is coming...”
Sri K Pattabhi Jois

"Yoga will make you sensitive to the stillness, the presence, the hush, the peace of God. This deep inner stillness is the core of your being. It is the ground, the joy of your being. The radiant peace you'll experience is what happens naturally when the creative energy of God is allowed to flow through you unobstructed."
Erich Schiffmann, author of Yoga the Spirit and Practice of Moving into Stillness
